US President Donald Trump, ahead of the launch of the Artemis II mission, stated that America dominates everywhere - in space, on Earth, and in between, emphasizing the absolute leadership of the US in the economy, military power, and space exploration, according to a post by Donald Trump on his Truth Social platform.

Shortly before the launch of the Artemis II mission, President Donald Trump delivered an inspiring video address to the nation and the crew, underscoring the US's absolute leadership on the world stage and beyond.

To the sounds of Madonna's iconic song "Like a Prayer," the White House released a video on X, narrated by the president himself. In his message, Trump called Americans a nation of pioneers and emphasized that returning to the stars is the country's natural destiny.

Space as the new American frontier

In the video, Trump emphasized the philosophical significance of space exploration, noting that the pursuit of the unknown is embedded in the human soul itself.

"This is America's destiny - to be at the forefront of humanity's eternal quest for knowledge and to be the leader among nations in our adventure into the great unknown. The human soul yearns for discovery - by unlocking the mysteries of the universe, we unlock truths within ourselves," the president said.

He also added that although space exploration has never ceased, now is the moment for a new, grand beginning: "We are a nation of pioneers, and the next great American frontier is space, and we've never completed, but now we start again."

No one comes close: Trump on global dominance

Immediately after releasing the video, the president published a post on his Truth Social platform, praising the technical capabilities of the Artemis II rocket and calling it one of the most powerful ever built by mankind. However, Trump's main focus was on the geopolitical and economic advantage of the US.

According to the White House leader, America is today demonstrating unequivocal victory on all fronts:

  • Economically: The US remains the world's leading force.
  • Militarily: The strength of its army is unparalleled.
  • Among the stars: The Artemis II mission is set to cement the US status as a space superpower.

"We are winning, in Space, on Earth, and everywhere in between — economically, militarily, and now, beyond the stars. Nobody comes close! America doesn’t just compete, we dominate, and the whole world is watching," Trump emphasized.

Launch expectations

A White House official told NBC News that Donald Trump would personally monitor the scheduled rocket launch from his residence.

At the conclusion of his address, the president invoked God's blessing for the incredible astronauts, the NASA team, and the greatest nation that has ever existed.

The Artemis II mission is a critically important stage in the program to return humans to the Moon. It is the first crewed flight to Earth's satellite in over half a century, intended to pave the way for future landings and subsequent expansion to Mars.

Earlier, NASA had planned the launch for February, but it was postponed due to technical checks of the rocket's fueling system.

Additionally, RBC-Ukraine previously reported that the American company SpaceX presented an updated, simplified lunar mission plan aimed at reducing preparation time and enhancing crew safety.
