The US military has placed an additional order for 1,320 F10 strike FPV drones from the Ukrainian company F-Drones under the Drone Dominance program, which is being implemented for the Pentagon. By the volume of this additional order, the company ranks second among participants in the first phase of the program, according to an F-Drones post.
What is known about the additional order
F-Drones considers securing the second-largest additional order among participants in the first phase of the Drone Dominance program as recognition that Ukrainian drones meet the highest quality standards.
The deadline for fulfilling the additional F10 supply contract is the end of November.
What is known about exports and production
According to F-Drones CEO Stanislav Khutor, the company is currently undergoing all necessary export procedures and approvals.
"We expect to receive the Ukrainian export permit in a timely manner to fulfill the contract on schedule. F-Drones' production capacities allow us to fulfill additional orders without compromising supplies to the front line. Ukrainian defenders receive our drones on time and in full," he noted.
The F10 became the first Ukrainian drone to receive official permission for export to the US. The first batch of 2,000 drones, ordered by the US military under the Drone Dominance program, was shipped to the Pentagon in July. In the US market, F-Drones is represented by UDD Tech Corp.
F-Drones was the first company in Ukraine to receive permission to export drones. The company's CEO, Stas Khutor, explained that this concerns the F10 FPV drone, a modification of which, based on a system the Ukrainian military has used since 2024, was adapted to meet the requirements of the Drone Dominance Program competition. He also said the company plans to shift to a licensing model for the technology and assemble the F10 directly in the US.
The F10 reached the finals of the first phase of Drone Dominance, ranking sixth with 72.9 out of 100 possible points. The winner of the first phase was the fiber-optic drone Shrike 10 Fiber from the Ukrainian company SkyFall.
