US issues global warning to Americans worldwide

Amid the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, the US Department of State has issued an official warning for Americans around the world, according to the US State Department.

In its statement, the US State Department emphasized that US citizens should take precautions, especially when staying in regions with heightened threats, and follow the guidance of the nearest US embassy or consulate.
Travel recommendations
The State Department message stressed the possibility of disruptions to air travel due to periodic airspace closures.
Americans are advised to check routes in advance and take potential travel restrictions into account.
Conflict chronology
The large-scale US operation together with Israel against targets in Iran began on the morning of January 28, when Israeli forces struck key infrastructure facilities in Tehran.
In response, Iranian armed forces attacked US-allied bases in the Middle East and have not ruled out strikes on civilian infrastructure.
Duration of the operation
According to forecasts from Washington, the military campaign against Iran may last several days and cover significant regions of the Middle East.
In this regard, Americans are advised to strictly follow safety measures and closely monitor updates from official sources.
President Donald Trump received a series of briefings before making the decision to launch strikes on Iran, where he was presented with detailed risks and forecasts of possible developments in the event of the start of a military operation against Tehran.
The Yemeni terrorist group Ansar Allah (Houthi movement) announced its support for Iran amid the US and Israel military operation and promised to resume attacks on maritime vessels in the Red Sea region.
