The US policy on long-range strikes deep into Russia has not changed. The administration maintains its position on the limited use of weapons by Ukraine, stated US State Department spokesperson Vedant Patel.

A State Department spokesperson stated that there were no announcements regarding any changes in policy.

He also informed that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, currently in Brussels, continues discussions with allies and partners on how to respond to Russia's involvement of North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine.

According to him, North Korea's involvement in this war is of significant concern not only in Europe but also in the Indo-Pacific region.

It is worth noting that the US administration maintains its position on Ukraine's limited use of long-range weapons against targets deep in Russia, and continues consultations with allies regarding the presence of North Korean troops in Russia's war against Ukraine.

Recently, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha discussed with Secretary of State Antony Blinken the possibility of allowing long-range strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russian territory. The Minister expressed "cautious optimism" on this issue.
