US envoy to conclude diplomatic mission in Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with US Chargé d’Affaires in Ukraine Julie Davis, who is completing her diplomatic mission in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current security situation and peace efforts. In particular, Sybiha emphasized the importance of an active US role in advancing the peace process to achieve a comprehensive and lasting peace.
In addition, the minister expressed gratitude to Julie Davis for her personal contribution to developing active political dialogue between Ukraine and the United States, as well as for effective cooperation during an important period for Kyiv.
"We are grateful to the United States for its unwavering support of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. We highly value your personal contribution to strengthening the Ukrainian-American strategic partnership. Today, it is especially important to maintain the strong momentum of our cooperation and jointly make proactive decisions that bring a comprehensive and lasting peace for Ukraine closer," Sybiha said.

He also highlighted the importance of the recent meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in France during the G7 summit, saying it confirmed the shared commitment of Kyiv and Washington to strengthen their strategic partnership and coordinate efforts to achieve peace.
Separately, Sybiha expressed gratitude to the American people for their solidarity with Ukraine and stressed the importance of preserving bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States.
In conclusion, the foreign minister wished Julie Davis success in her future diplomatic work and also congratulated the United States on the upcoming 250th anniversary of its independence. He wished the American people peace and prosperity.
"Ukraine highly values its friendship with the United States. I am convinced that our strategic partnership will continue to strengthen for the benefit of our countries and peoples, as well as for our shared cause of protecting freedom, democracy, and international law," Sybiha concluded.
