Attack on American drone
On July 23rd, a Russian fighter jet attacked an American drone with signal rockets in the sky over Syria. The drone operator managed to keep the UAV in the air and return it to the base.
A video of the fighter jet's attack on the drone was even published on the internet. It shows that the Russians initially observed the MQ-9 Reaper. Then, they likely refueled it before launching signal rockets at it.
It's worth noting that on July 18th, a Russian Su-35 fighter intercepted an American MC-12 reconnaissance aircraft in Syria.
