US calls DPRK army involvement in war sign of Russia's desperation
The possible involvement of North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine indicates that Russia is desperate. The Kremlin could take such a step because of the extraordinary losses at the front, claims White House National Security Council speaker Sean Savett.
Savett said that the United States cannot confirm the information about the involvement of North Korean troops in the Russian war against Ukraine, but he noted that if such data is confirmed, it will indicate the Kremlin's desperation.
According to him, if North Korea joins Russia, the United States will consult with its allies and partners on the consequences of “such a dramatic step.”
The spokesman also noted that such a move would “demonstrate Russia's growing desperation” as it continues to suffer extraordinary battlefield losses in its brutal war against Ukraine.
“If Russia is indeed forced to turn to the DPRK for manpower, it will be a sign of desperation, not strength on the part of the Kremlin,” he stated.
Involvement of North Korean troops in the war in Ukraine
There has recently been evidence that Russia is going to involve North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine.
The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security showed video evidence that DPRK soldiers are already in Russia.
Today, during a press conference in Kyiv, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said that the involvement of North Korean soldiers in the war in Ukraine could spill over into Asia.
