Double arrow makeup is a bold and spectacular option that is perfect for celebrating March 8. This makeup gives the image a finishing touch, emphasizing the eyes and making the look more expressive, says Ukrainian makeup artist Inna Ruchka.
Step 1: Prepare the skin
Cleanse and moisturize: Start by cleansing your skin and applying moisturizer. This will help create an even foundation for makeup. Apply a makeup base (primer) to make your makeup last longer.
Foundation: Use foundation or BB cream to even out your skin tone.
Concealer: To conceal dark circles under the eyes or minor imperfections, use concealer.
Step 2: Eyes
Basic eye makeup: Apply a basic foundation shadow (nude or powder shades) to the eyelids. They will create a soft background for the arrows.
You can add a slightly darker shade to the crease of the eyelid to make the look deeper.
Double arrows: Use black liquid eyeliner for the first liner, which starts at the inner corner of the eye and extends along the lash line to the outer corner.
Then apply the second arrow slightly higher than the first, parallel to it. This will create a double-line effect.
To do this, choose an eyeliner or pencil in a contrasting color.
Both arrows should be neat, and their tips can be slightly raised up for an expressive look.
Eyeshadow for extra emphasis: If you want to add even more drama, you can apply a little glitter or metallic eyeshadow to the middle of the eyelid.
Mascara: Don't forget about mascara. Apply several layers to highlight your lashes and make your eyes look more open.
Step 3: Face
Contouring: light contouring with bronzer will emphasize the cheekbones and face shape.
Blush: lightly apply blush to the apples of the cheeks to add a fresh look to the face.
Highlighter: Apply highlighter to the parts of the face that protrude, such as the upper cheeks, nose, and under the eyebrows, to add radiance to the skin.
Step 4: Lips
Lipstick: To complete the look, choose a lipstick that matches your eye makeup. Depending on your mood, you can choose a bright red or a more neutral shade.

- Double arrows look especially good with matte or satin-finish lipsticks.
- When drawing arrows, keep your hand free, take your time, and make sure that the lines are clear and even.
