Unknown drone spotted over Norway's gas field

In Norway, an unknown drone was spotted flying over the Equinor gas field in the North Sea, reports VG.
The drone was spotted by Equinor employees on the evening of Monday, September 29.
“Today (September 29 - ed.) in the evening, we received a report that a drone had been spotted. It was spotted by employees,” said a police representative.
The police launched an internal alert, and employees are currently gathering information together with intelligence services.
“This is an issue that we want to investigate further. This is quite natural, given the current situation, with a strong emphasis on this,” the Norwegian police added.
Drones over EU countries
In recent weeks, there have been a number of incidents involving drones flying over Denmark, Poland, and Romania. Besides, Russian fighter jets violated Estonian airspace.
On September 27, Denmark confirmed that unknown drones were spotted flying over several Ministry of Defense facilities at night. Two days earlier, drones were spotted over airports in Aalborg, Esbjerg, and Sønderborg, as well as over the Skrydstrup airbase.
On September 29, Denmark launched joint Wings of Defense exercises involving Danish and Ukrainian military personnel, during which countermeasures against attack drones are being practiced.
