United States did not support Israel's plan to strike Iran
The United States of America has reportedly refused to back Israel's plans to strike Iran in response to recent attacks, according to CNN.
As per the report, an American official stated that Israel's military strike inside Iran poses a potentially dangerous escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
Another official said that on Thursday, April 18, the United States had received advance notice of Israel's planned strike in the coming days. However, Washington did not support the idea.

Relations between the two countries have rapidly deteriorated following an attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria. Tehran then threatened retaliation against Israel. In the early hours of April 14, Iran launched hundreds of missiles and UAVs at the country, some of which were successfully intercepted en route. Following this, Tel Aviv vowed a definite response to Tehran.
Today, April 19, as reported by ABC News, the Israel Defense Forces struck Iranian territory. Military officials reported the downing of several UAVs near the city of Isfahan. However, no rockets were detected.
