The Ukrainian army has introduced a unique all-terrain amphibious vehicle called Taha. This innovative development comes from Ukrainian manufacturers, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian vehicle is capable of operating in any terrain, including transitioning from water to ice.

The Taha all-terrain vehicle is compact and can turn in place, enabling effective maneuvering in confined spaces.

Key advantages of the Taha include:

  • It can overcome obstacles over 1 meter high.
  • It can carry up to 1 ton of cargo or up to 10 passengers.
  • Its speed on land is up to 40 km/h and up to 6 km/h on water.
  • It can operate for over two days on a single tank of fuel.

The Ministry of Defense explained that the amphibious vehicle exerts less pressure on the ground with its tires than a human foot, allowing it to traverse loose and unstable soils.

This vehicle is already being utilized at the front lines for evacuation, transporting ammunition, and delivering food in challenging terrain where other military vehicles struggle.

Ukrainian drones

Ukrainian manufacturers have significantly increased drone production and aviation systems since the onset of the full-scale war. This includes not only quadcopters and attack drones but also naval drones. Ukraine has even established a new branch of military forces specializing in drones—the Unmanned Systems Forces.

Recently, the Ministry of Defense announced that a new drone bomber, Black Widow, has been introduced into the arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, said that Ukrainian drones can now strike targets in Russia from distances of up to 1,800 km from the Ukrainian border.
