On the morning of Friday, September 19, an unexploded enemy drone was discovered in the Shevchenkivskyi district in Kyiv. Explosive experts are working at the site, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reports.

“An unexploded enemy drone was discovered in the Shevchenkivskyi district,” the Kyiv City Military Administration statement says.

Explosive experts and other specialized services are operating at the site, and experts are surveying the area. No further details are available at this time.

During the night of September 19, explosions sounded in the capital amid a declared air raid alert. Earlier, the Air Force had warned of the threat of strike drones approaching Kyiv.

One of the enemy drones fell in the Solomianskyi district.

Later, the Kyiv mayor clarified that debris from downed drones fell in several locations, including on a roadway in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The fall caused damage to the trolleybus network.

In addition, due to the strikes, there may be disruptions in card payments and ticket validation on turnstiles in the high-speed tram and funicular.
