Ukrainians can learn English for free using groundbreaking domestic mobile app
A free platform for learning English has been launched in Ukraine. To start learning the new language, it's enough to sign in to the Promova app using the groundbreaking mobile application Diia.
Diia announced that a convenient platform for learning foreign languages had become part of the national program Future Perfect, the goal of which was to officially make English the language of international communication in Ukraine, open up new opportunities for each Ukrainian's professional and personal development, and help them compete in the global market and earn a high income.
The Promova platform includes:
- Individual educational trajectories.
- A top-10 rating and representation in Popular Apps to Try in the AppStore.
- Learning English in English.
- Pronunciation training.
- TV series, movies, and literature.
- Part of the largest IT product ecosystem in Ukraine, Genesis.
English in Ukraine
English is considered the primary foreign language in Ukraine. Learning it is mandatory in schools and universities.
Previously, the government stated that English would soon become mandatory for all civil servants. The General Staff also reported that they aim to teach military personnel to be fluent in English by 2026.
