Ukrainian Vyshgorod shaken as Shahed drone debris ignites backyard blaze

Russian forces are carrying out a massive drone attack on the Kyiv region. In Vyshhorod, debris from a downed drone caused a fire and damaged buildings and vehicles, according to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.
It is reported that the attack ignited debris from the downed drone between residential high-rise buildings.
“A vehicle and building windows were damaged. The fire has been extinguished. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties,” the statement said.
According to Kalashnyk, all emergency services are involved in extinguishing the fire. More detailed information will follow.
The head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration advised residents to remain in shelters until the threat passes.
On the night of September 3, the Russian army carried out a large-scale attack on Ukraine with Shahed kamikaze drones.
An air raid alert in Kyiv was announced at 22:25, but most of the drones are bypassing the capital in the Kyiv region and heading toward western Ukraine.
