Explosions hit Lutsk, Lviv, and Rivne amid ongoing drone assault in western Ukraine

On the night of September 3, the Russians are carrying out a massive drone attack on western Ukraine. Explosions and air defense operations have already been reported in several cities.
RBC-Ukraine reports everything currently known about the nighttime drone attack.

Enemy attacks
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian forces were attacking Ukraine with drones throughout almost the entire day on September 3. There was a brief pause during the day, after which enemy drones entered through the Chernihiv region at 17:55. Subsequent drone activity was also recorded.
Closer to nighttime, it became clear that the main enemy attack was aimed at western Ukraine, as the drones were moving, and continue to move, in that direction.
Cities in western Ukraine attacked by Russia
Lutsk
Starting at 00:17 Kyiv time, Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk reported that enemy drones were heading toward the city. By 00:42, air defense forces were active in Lutsk.
However, the attack continued, and the mayor kept reporting that drones were entering the city, prompting air defense operations.
Several Telegram channels have noted that there are some consequences from the attack, although no official data has been released yet.
Rivne
On the night of September 3, at 00:03, the Ukrainian Air Force detected enemy drones in the Rivne region. By 00:15, residents reported hearing explosions in the city, with repeat explosions occurring approximately 45 minutes later.
Chernivtsi region
The head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Zaparaniuk, wrote on Telegram that as of 01:25, a strike drone had been detected over Bukovina. About 20 minutes later, there were already seven drones, and later the drone threat extended to Chernivtsi city.
No information has yet been reported regarding the success of shooting down enemy drones or any consequences.
Lviv
The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration reported that at 00:51, an enemy drone was detected in the airspace of the Lviv region. Additional drones soon appeared, and by 01:57, there was a drone threat directly over Lviv.
A few minutes later, explosions were heard in Lviv as air defense forces became active. Mayor Andrii Sadovyi noted that another drone was currently heading toward the regional center.

The enemy attack on Lviv and the surrounding region continues. Mayor Sadovyi reported that it is currently loud in the regional center.
Khmelnytskyi region
At approximately 02:33, Suspilne reported that explosions were heard in the region. The exact location is not yet known.
Ivano-Frankivsk
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that as of 02:32, a group of enemy drones was approaching Ivano-Frankivsk.
The day before, Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv had warned about a combined attack on Ukraine and cautioned that it could be loud in the city.
