Amid Russian claims that Novoplatonivka has been captured, soldiers of Ukraine's 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade released footage of an operation and confirmed that the settlement remains under Ukrainian control.

The brigade stated that reports circulated by the Russian side claiming that Novoplatonivka had been seized are false. According to the military, the settlement remains under the control of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

To detect and eliminate Russian troops who had infiltrated the area of operations, a strike-and-search group from the 115th Brigade conducted a clearing operation in the settlement. Before the mission, the military tested the combat module of an unmanned ground vehicle at a training range.

"The clearing operation was carried out efficiently and in a coordinated manner. The unmanned ground vehicle provided reliable fire support, allowing the group to complete its mission successfully. Novoplatonivka remains under the control of Ukraine's Defense Forces," the statement said.

The military also thanked the 10th Army Corps for assistance with video documentation of the operation and published footage of the mission.

Earlier, the Third Army Corps reported an operation targeting Russian military logistics routes in the temporarily occupied parts of the Luhansk region and Eastern Slobozhanshchyna. Drones were used to strike targets more than 205 kilometers (127 miles) deep inside Russian-controlled territory.

According to the military, Russian armored vehicles and ammunition depots were hit during the operation. One of the most distant targets was near the Izvaryne checkpoint on the border with Russia.
