According the General Staff, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully shot down another Russian helicopter on Wednesday morning, August 9.
"This morning our soldiers shot down another helicopter of the Russian occupiers. The type of helicopter is currently being identified," the statement read.
Russian losses in Ukraine
As of the morning of August 9, Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine amounted to 820 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian personnel losses since the beginning of the invasion to 251,620. Furthermore, Ukrainian Armed Forces have eliminated 5,000 artillery systems since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
