Ukrainian defenders in the Lyman direction have destroyed a Russian occupant's aerial surveillance point. According to the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service, eliminating a drone operator was also possible.
Border guards note that on the Lyman sector of the front, they identified the launch site of enemy drones. The occupiers tried to conceal it in the woods.
Ukrainian Armed Forces' coordinates for the Russian aerial reconnaissance point were transmitted to the artillery of the Ukrainian Airborne Troops. The defenders accurately targeted it with artillery fire. As a bonus, our military also eliminated the drone operator.
Battles in the Lyman and Kupiansk directions
A few weeks ago, the Ukrainian command reported that the situation in the Lyman-Kupiansk sector had escalated. Russian forces attempted to break through the Ukrainian defense. Later, it became known that the defenders had contained the "major offensive" of the Russians, which they had announced in the spring.
Russian occupiers claimed to have captured three settlements in this direction, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces' command refuted the information.
