On the Dobropillia direction, Ukrainian defenders are effectively striking enemy logistics and concentrations. In just the past day, enemy losses totaled 47 personnel, including 32 irrecoverable, according to Hryhoriy Shapoval, communications officer of the East troop group, during a live telemarathon broadcast.

According to him, the effectiveness of strikes on enemy concentration areas in the Dobropillia direction in Donetsk region is increasing.

“The task is being successfully carried out, and enemy concentration points are being increasingly destroyed. Their logistics are being actively targeted. In the past day, enemy losses in this direction amounted to 47 personnel, 32 of whom are irrecoverable,” Shapoval said.

Ukrainian counteroffensive operation

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported several weeks ago that Ukrainian forces had launched a counteroffensive on the Dobropillia direction. According to him, Russian troops had attempted to concentrate their main forces for advancement there but failed, allowing Ukrainian defenders to go on the counterattack.

On September 29, Syrskyi stated that the area liberated as a result of the counteroffensive near Dobropillia reached about 175 sq. km.

Earlier, Syrskyi noted that Ukrainian forces had advanced 3 to 7 km into Russian defenses in the Dobropillia direction. During the counteroffensive, Ukrainian troops managed to liberate seven settlements along the front in this area.
