Ukrainian Third Assault Brigade captures Russian soldiers after clearing forest line (Video)
The soldiers of the Third Separate Assault Brigade successfully cleared a tree line and captured a group of Russian forces. The operation occurred in the Kharkiv region, according to the brigade’s Telegram channel.
The brigade also released a video showing how the operation unfolded.
The footage shows two tanks and two M-113 armored personnel carriers advancing to assault the enemy's positions. The tanks opened fire while the APCs moved in under their cover.
After suppressing the enemy, the M-113s deployed infantry and began withdrawing. The assault group then advanced. Shortly after, the enemy infantry surrendered.
During this time, Russian forces actively shelled the position. Despite coming under fire, an M-113 vehicle returned to evacuate the POWs and a wounded soldier. The mission was successfully completed.
Earlier today, the Third Separate Assault Brigade released another video showing the destruction of Russian targets. The footage included the detonation of a supply depot, the burning of several shelters containing enemy equipment, and the disabling of two mortars.
