Ukrainian talent Vanat set for La Liga as Dynamo and Girona discuss deal

Kyiv Dynamo forward Vladyslav Vanat is on the verge of a transfer to Spanish club Girona. The clubs have entered the final stage of negotiations, agreeing on financial details and the player's personal contract, reports Dynamo Kyiv Inside.
Contract terms
Girona is offering 23-year-old Vanat €15 million, to be paid in three installments over 1.5 years, along with 20% of any future resale. Dynamo insists on two payments within one year.
Initially, the Spanish club offered €9 million, but this sum did not satisfy Kyiv. Active involvement from agent Pere Guardiola, along with pressure from the player and his entourage, influenced the club's willingness to make concessions.
Agreement with Dynamo
Vanat has an active contract with Dynamo until summer 2027. Transfermarkt values him at €15 million.
In the 2024/25 season, the forward played 45 matches, scoring 21 goals and providing 9 assists. In the current season, he has already scored 3 goals and made 2 assists in 7 games.
According to Spanish media, Girona has already agreed on a 5-year contract with the player. The club sees Vanat as a potential successor to Artem Dovbyk.
Match against Maccabi
The forward was not included in Dynamo's squad for the Europa League playoff return against Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi stated that Vanat and Ángel Torres will not be able to help the team. The reason was not specified, but the club aims to protect the player from potential injuries.
Ukrainians at Girona
Currently, goalkeeper Vladyslav Krapyvtsov and winger Viktor Tsyhankov represent the Catalan club. Both played in the 2nd round La Liga match against Villarreal, which Girona lost 0:5.
