The Ukrainian athletes qualified for the Diamond League final based on their season results: Mahuchikh ranked third (35 points), and Levchenko ranked sixth (18 points).
For Yaroslava, this was her fifth consecutive final, having previously won silver in 2021 and three consecutive victories from 2022 to 2024.

Competition in Zurich
The event began at a height of 1.80 m, with Levchenko being the first to clear it. At 1.94 m, Mahuchikh entered the competition and cleared the bar on her first attempt.

The key stage came at 2.00 m. Britain’s Morgan Lake cleared it on her first attempt, setting a national record.
Mahuchikh and Olyslagers also cleared 2.00 m on their first attempts, while Levchenko succeeded on her second try — marking her best result in five years.
