Over the past day, December 28, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 76 units of Russian equipment in the Tavria direction. The enemy's losses amounted to 442 Russians, according to the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces.

Over the day, Russian war criminals:

  • carried out 10 air strikes;
  • conducted 36 combat engagements;
  • made 1159 artillery attacks.

Avdiivka direction

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy, who keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. The Ukrainian military repelled 14 Russian attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, and Avdiivka and 12 attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

Maryinka direction

Ukrainian soldiers are holding back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where they repelled 6 attacks.

Shakhtarsk direction

The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.

Zaporizhzhia direction

The Ukrainian military repelled 4 attacks south of Novodarivka, west of Verbove, and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Achievements of Ukrainian soldiers

Enemy losses amounted to 442 Russians and 76 vehicles. In particular:

  • 8 tanks;
  • 9 armored personnel carriers;
  • 15 artillery systems;
  • 2 MLRS;
  • 1 air defense system;
  • 26 UAVs;
  • 12 vehicles;
  • 3 units of special equipment.

"Two ammunition depots were destroyed," the press service adds.

Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, December 28, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated almost 850 more Russian occupants. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 357,520 troops.
