Ukraine shoots down Russian Dan-M jet drone with new SAM - video

On May 29, Ukrainian air defense shot down the latest Russian Dan-M jet drone with an anti-aircraft missile system developed by Ukrainian intelligence, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
Ukrainian air defense systems shot down the Dan-M over the Black Sea on May 29 during a drone attack on the Odesa region. To counteract the drone, a mobile anti-aircraft missile system equipped with R-73 missiles was used, developed by the DIU specialists with the support of foreign partners.
"After detecting the Russian drone, the fighters of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the target. Russia's latest jet drone, probably Dan-M, was destroyed: it fell into the Black Sea," the DIU writes.

Yesterday, on May 29, the head of the Center for Radio Technologies, Serhii Beskrestnov, said that Russia had launched an attack on Ukraine at night using a new type of strike jet drone called Dan-M.
According to him, these drones were created as a jet target intended for training and testing air defense systems, but Russia modified and re-equipped them to carry out strikes.

On the night of May 29, Russia launched another drone attack on Ukraine. In total, Russia launched 90 drones at Ukraine from the directions of the Russian cities of Millerovo, Orel, and Kursk. As of this morning, Ukrainian air defense neutralized 56 Russian drones.
