Ukrainian scouts destroyed the Russian radar complex Zoopark using FPV drones. The cost ratio between the drones and the complex is 1:10,000, reports by Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR).

It is noted that the complex was destroyed by fighters from the Kryla (Wings) unit, which is part of the active operations department of the HUR.

The cost of the destroyed radar complex is approximately one billion hryvnias ($24 million).

"To destroy the Russian Zoopark, the scouts used four long-range FPV drones, valued at 100,000 hryvnias (approx $2,400 - Ed.). The ratio is 1:10,000," added HUR.

1L219 Zoopark-1

The 1L219 Zoopark-1 is a Soviet mobile artillery reconnaissance radar complex designed to determine the positions of artillery systems, mortars, rocket launchers, and locations of shell explosions. Its main function is to provide counter-battery warfare by calculating the precise coordinates of the firing source, allowing artillery units to strike back.

The complex is mounted on an MT-LB chassis. The maximum target detection range is up to 40 km, depending on the type of target and the terrain.

Russian losses in the war
