Ukrainian Presidential Administration confirms another meeting with Trump after Pope Francis' funeral

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump will hold another meeting after the funeral of Pope Francis. This is their second meeting in a day, according to the presidential press secretary Serhii Nykyforov.
According to him, the presidents met today, April 26, at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. The meeting lasted about 15 minutes.
Nykyforov confirmed a Sky News report that Zelenskyy and Trump had agreed to meet again today.
"The leaders agreed to continue negotiations today. The teams are working on organizing the continuation of the meeting," Nykyforov said.
The press service of the President's Office also showed a photo of the first meeting of the leaders. Zelenskyy and Trump were sitting opposite each other. They were greeted by French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The White House earlier commented on the first meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy, calling it "very productive."
"President Trump and President Zelensky met privately today and had a very productive discussion," said White House Communications Director Stephen Chang.
Andriy Yermak, the head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, briefly described the meeting between the two presidents. On his Telegram account, he posted a photo of Zelenskyy and Trump and wrote: "Constructive."
This was the first personal meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump after the quarrel at the White House on February 28. Back then, the meeting between the Ukrainian and American presidents ended in a verbal altercation, which was joined by US Vice President JD Vance.
The altercation arose over the war, and the US leadership accused Ukraine of allegedly being ungrateful for the assistance provided.
