Ukrainian partisans cut communication at military sites in Moscow region - ATESH

A representative of the Ukrainian underground has carried out a successful sabotage operation in Russia’s Moscow region, disrupting communications at several Russian Armed Forces military facilities, according to the Telegram channel of the partisan movement ATESH.
The operation reportedly occurred in the village of Mogiltsy, where an agent of the movement destroyed equipment at a transformer substation. This facility provided power and telecommunications support to the region.
According to the underground resistance, disabling the substation caused immediate disruptions in communications at several key military sites. Among them are:
- the 629th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment (military unit 51857),
- the 21st Separate Operational Brigade (military unit 3641),
- a military town housing personnel from unit 51084 were among those affected,
- problems also arose at the 483rd Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia,
- as well as at a distribution warehouse operated by the company SberLogistika, which fulfills contracts for the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"The disruption of communications and power supply has thrown unit management into chaos, derailing planning and coordination between military sites," the ATESH movement noted.
The exact timing of the sabotage was not specified. However, representatives of the movement have released footage of the operation’s aftermath online.
Other partisan sabotage acts
In recent days, underground fighters from the ATESH movement disabled a transformer substation in Saratov, Russia, which had been supplying critical infrastructure facilities.
Before that, Ukrainian partisans struck a railway near the city of Kemerovo in Russia, effectively slowing down the delivery of ammunition to a nearby military site.
Back in March, ATESH partisans carried out a sabotage operation on a railway in Russia’s Smolensk region, which successfully disrupted supply routes to the Kursk region.
Earlier this winter, partisans carried out a sabotage attack on a railway line in Moscow that also led to the Kursk region. That operation likewise disrupted the invaders’ logistics.
