In the Black Sea on the morning of July 2, 7 Russian ships were detected, 1 of which was a missile carrier. However, there are no Kalibr missiles on board, according to the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian military clarifies, 2 Russian ships are also present in the Azov Sea, but there are no Kalibr cruise missile carriers.

The Ukrainian Navy also notes that 2 missile carriers were spotted in the Mediterranean Sea. They are both carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, and their total salvo is up to 24 missiles.

In addition, during the day in the interests of Russia, passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out by:

  • to the Black Sea - 5 ships, of which 1 continued its movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;
  • to the Sea of ​​Azov - 7 ships, of which 4 were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.

161 combat clashes occurred on the front during the past day, July 1. Russian troops attacked mostly in the Pokrovsk direction.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) plans to appoint a person responsible for long-term aid to Ukraine at the summit in Washington.
