Russian army pays high price for attempts to advance in Pokrovsk direction
The situation along the front line remains tense but controlled. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 161 combat engagements. The enemy is most actively attacking in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, the Russian army launched four missile strikes (using six missiles), 33 air strikes (including 50 guided bombs), and 433 kamikaze drone attacks.
Additionally, the enemy carried out 3,072 shellings on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas using artillery and other types of weaponry.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces attempted to storm defensive positions near Hlyboke, Lyptsi, and Vovchansk 11 times. Four combat engagements are ongoing. The situation is under the control of our forces.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked our positions 17 times. Successful defense operations repelled assaults near the settlements of Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and Stelmakhivka. Three engagements continue near Synkivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces also made 17 assault attempts near Hrekhivka, Nevske, and Makiivka. Five battles are ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, aggressive actions were noted with 19 assault attempts by the Russian army. Locations of combat engagements include Bilohorivka, Ivano-Darivka, Spirne, Viyimka, and Verkhniokamianske. In the area of Verkhniokamianske, two battles are ongoing. Invaders are facing staunch resistance.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our troops halted five enemy attacks in the areas of Nove and Klishchiivka. In Nove, near the Chasiv Yar direction, one engagement is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attempted to breach our defensive lines near the settlements of Toretsk, Pivnichne, Pivdene, and New York 19 times. Sixteen attacks were repelled, with three still underway.
The enemy's most intense attacks are occurring in the Pokrovsk direction, where 44 Russian assault actions have been recorded since the beginning of the day. Currently, our forces are repelling 14 ongoing attacks near the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Novoselivka Persha, Yevhenivka, Sokil, Voskhod, and Netaylove.
According to the General Staff, the Russian army is paying a high price for their attempts to advance in the Pokrovsk direction. Enemy losses since the beginning of the day include: personnel - 109 soldiers irreversibly, medical - 181, with several individuals taken prisoner.
Additionally, one Russian tank, one BMP, and one MT-LB were destroyed, along with two Tigr armored vehicles, two cars, and one buggy. Four tactical UAVs were also neutralized, along with one cannon. Among the damaged enemy equipment are a tank, a cannon, a 120mm mortar, and four vehicles.
In the Kurakhove direction, Russian forces attempted seven times to advance in the areas near the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Paraskeviivka, but without success.
In the Vremivka direction, there have been ten enemy attacks near Vodiane and Urozhaine. Defense forces are currently repelling one assault. The defense forces maintain control of the situation.
Two enemy attacks towards Robotyne and Novodanilivka were unsuccessful in the Orikhiv direction.
In the Prydniprovsk direction, the Russian forces continue their attempts to dislodge defense forces from their positions on the platforms. All eight Russian attacks today were unsuccessful.
Frontline situation
According to the General Staff, during the past day on June 30th, there were 142 combat engagements along the front line. The majority of battles occurred in the Pokrovsk direction.
During the past day, Defense Forces eliminated another 1,110 soldiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the enemy has lost over 543,000 soldiers.
Additionally, 19 tanks, 66 artillery systems, 1 MLRS, and other enemy equipment were destroyed yesterday.
