Ukrainian military forces continue to monitor the presence of enemy vessels in the Black Sea. As of today, as was the case yesterday, one Russian ship remains in the area, according to the morning report from the Ukrainian Navy.

As of 06:00 (according to the Kyiv time zone), it has been identified that the observed vessel is equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo capacity of up to four missiles.

Another ship has been detected in the Mediterranean Sea, also armed with Kalibr missiles, with a similar salvo capacity of up to four missiles.

At the same time, there are no Russian ships present in the Azov Sea.

The military also reported that within the past 24 hours, in Russia’s interest, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait:

  • to the Black Sea - 7 vessels, 4 of which continued towards the Bosporus Strait;
  • to the Azov Sea - 5 vessels, 1 of which were moving from the Bosporus Strait.

Additionally, the Ukrainian Navy once again highlighted that Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling Automatic Identification Systems (AIS).

It is worth noting that in August, it was reported that Ukraine's Magura V5 strike drones had hit 18 Russian ships in the Black Sea over the past 18 months. In an interview with Deutsche Welle, the commander of the special unit of Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Group 13, with the call sign Thirteenth, claimed that the Black Sea Fleet in Crimea has effectively capitulated.
