The commander of the special unit of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence (DIU), Group 13, with the call sign Thirteenth, in an interview with Deutsche Welle, stated that Magura V5 strike drones have hit 18 Russian ships in the Black Sea over a period of one and a half years. The Black Sea Fleet in Crimea has effectively capitulated.

"The Russian Black Sea Fleet in Crimea has essentially capitulated. Everything modern and necessary for Russia has already been withdrawn from Sevastopol. This fleet is paralyzed. Now it only consumes money from the Russian budget, but it cannot perform its functions," said Thirteenth.

According to HUR, the Ukrainian-made Magura V5 strike maritime drone can cover more than 800 kilometers. Its speed is 80 kilometers per hour, and its warhead weighs 250 kilograms.

"We did not focus on increasing the warhead size to destroy a ship with a single hit. We took a different approach: we attacked in a swarm, inflicting five or more hits on large ships, causing critical damage," the intelligence officer noted.

It is worth noting that, according to research, the Magura drone of this type has destroyed most Russian ships during the war.

Additionally, HUR revealed that when selecting targets for Magura drones, they consider any objects within an 800-kilometer radius.

Furthermore, intelligence confirmed that R-73 missiles were installed on these maritime drones, which have already proven their effectiveness.
