Ukrainian Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov has disclosed Elon Musk's proposal to distinguish Ukrainian and occupant Starlink services, according to his statement.
Mykhailo Fedorov has stated that he has a proposal to distinguish and verify the Starlink used by Ukraine from those used by its enemy.
"We have a specific proposal on how to distinguish and verify the Starlink used by us from those used by our enemy. And how to make sure they don't work for them. We are waiting now, this is a process," Fedorov said.
The minister did not comment on the decision but stated that the algorithm is understood.
"I cannot comment. The algorithm is understood, decisions need to be made," Fedorov said.
Fedorov also touched on the topic of SpaceX selling drones to Russia.
"Of course, SpaceX does not sell drones to Russia, they buy them through other countries, it is very important to understand - through whom. But at the same time, there is a technological solution - how to exclude our Starlink from temporarily occupied territories," Fedorov said.
