Near Pokrovsk, the situation on the front line is changing dramatically. Due to difficult weather conditions, strong winds, and unstable skies, Russian troops cannot effectively use drones, and mass infantry attacks are accompanied by severe losses, according to Maksym Bakulin, call sign Chervona Kalyna, press officer of the 14th Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard's operational task force.

The main reason for the changes is the weather. There is no clear sky now, but instead, there is wind, which blows away a fairly large number of drones.

He explains that both the Russians and the Ukrainian Defense Forces now need to adapt to all this. In addition, the Russians have other problems that they cannot cope with - when they advanced en masse with infantry, they did not have time to bring up their firepower.

"And now we see that they are losing a crazy number of personnel every day. I am only looking at what our brigade is doing. They are now going all out. They are surrounded, they are suffering heavy losses, and they have logistical problems. Accordingly, we will have something to say, but we must see it through to the end," says the military officer.

Situation on front

Earlier today, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the front maps. According to their data, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled dozens of Russian attacks near Toretsk and Kupiansk.

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are inflicting significant losses on the Russian forces in terms of manpower and equipment and are actively undermining Russia's offensive potential in the rear.

In the past 24 hours alone, the missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck one area where enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated.

In total, the Russian losses over the past day amounted to 920 troops. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed a Russian tank, 3 armored combat vehicles, 13 artillery systems, 249 drones, and 33 units of Russian automotive equipment.
