Ukrainian military destroys 2 enemy reconnaissance drones in Mykolaiv region

Today, on August 22, the air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully downed two enemy drones in the Mykolaiv region, according to the Air Command "South".
"Using the resources and means of the air defense of the Air Command 'South,' 2 reconnaissance UAVs were destroyed," the statement reads.
It is noted that this occurred in the Mykolaiv region.
The Air Command "South" also clarifies that the military destroyed the drones Supercam and Merlin-VR.
About these drones
Merlin-VR is a Russian experimental unmanned aerial vehicle designed for reconnaissance of terrain in automatic and semi-automatic modes. Developed by the Scientific Research Institute of Modern Telecommunications Technologies in Smolensk.
SuperCam S350 is a model of reconnaissance drones of Russian production used for aerial photography of terrain and target designation. The drone can stay in the air for 4-4.5 hours, with a wingspan of 3.5 meters.
Fighting against Russian drones
Earlier, a fighter from the National Guard's "Bureviy" brigade managed to shoot down a Russian kamikaze drone with three shots. This happened during the evacuation of a wounded soldier.
