An attack on a Ukrainian man occurred in Poland while he was selling a car. Two Polish men posed as buyers and inflicted 14 stab wounds on him, reports inPoland.

The incident took place in the Polish city of Wrocław on April 26.

According to the publication, 32-year-old Ukrainian Dmytro put his car up for sale. Two men came to inspect it, presenting themselves as potential buyers. After a brief inspection, they said the car suited them, and the man went home to get the documents.

According to the victim, the buyers behaved strangely from the very beginning of the meeting. Later, they asked him to drive them to an ATM to withdraw money. However, they were unable to get cash from 15 ATMs. After that, they went to a Żabka store, but did not withdraw money there either, citing a queue.

When the Ukrainian had already begun to draw up the purchase and sale agreement, the men suddenly attacked him with a knife. The victim managed to unfasten his seatbelt and run out of the car, after which he began calling for help.

As a result of the attack, Dmytro received 14 stab wounds. The attackers fled, but during the escape, one of them dropped a phone, which was later found by the victim.

The man contacted his girlfriend and reached a gas station, where an ambulance and police were called. First aid was provided to him by Ukrainian bystanders. Doctors applied more than 50 stitches, and his life is currently not in danger.

Law enforcement officers detained the attackers.

Attacks on Ukrainians in Poland

Ukrainians in Poland often become victims of attacks and criminal incidents.

Thus, in the same Wrocław, a group of teenagers brutally attacked a 23-year-old Ukrainian. The man was lured on a date through a fake account on social media, after which he was beaten, had his head shaved, and Nazi symbols were drawn on his face.

Earlier in Poland, eight men were detained who, dressed as police officers, attacked Ukrainians and tried to rob them. They face up to eight years in prison.

Recently, it also became known that in the Polish town of Przasnysz, two locals with machetes attacked two citizens of Ukraine. According to the investigation, the motive was the nationality of the victims.

The attack was classified as a hate crime. The suspects have been arrested and face up to 12 years in prison.
