The city of Kremenchuk in the Poltava region is being attacked by drones and Kinzhal missiles on the night of December 7, according to the Ukrainian Air Forces on Telegram.

The Air Forces reported around 01:30 Kyiv time that high-speed targets were moving toward Kremenchuk.

It was also reported that explosions could be heard in the city.

Local social media pages, citing city residents, report disruptions in electricity and heating.

Meanwhile, an air raid alert was announced across Ukraine due to the takeoff of a MiG-31K - carrier of the Kh-47M2 hypersonic aeroballistic missile from the Kinzhal system - which poses a threat to all regions of the country.

Attack on Kremenchuk

As reported, on November 8, the enemy attacked Kremenchuk. As a result of the Russian strike on energy infrastructure, the entire city was left without electricity.

Later, Poltava Regional Military Administration Head Volodymyr Kohut said that the enemy carried out a massive strike on the Poltava region, targeting energy infrastructure facilities.

According to his information, one person was injured as a result of the Russian actions and is receiving necessary medical assistance.

Additionally, due to the attack, special emergency electricity outage schedules were introduced in the region.

Electric public transport in the city was not operating, so additional buses were deployed on the routes.
