Ukrainian Defense Ministry intelligence special forces have shared exclusive footage of assault operations on the Pokrovsk front, according to HUR's Telegram.
The video shows the 6th Special Operations detachment of the Timur unit in action: storming a building occupied by Russian troops, clearing trenches, downing an enemy drone, precision FPV drone strikes, and providing medical aid to the wounded.
The footage captures episodes from a November 2025 operation in the Pokrovsk direction, involving GUR special units.
The assault and clearing of targeted areas improved the tactical position of Ukraine’s security and defense forces defending the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration.
Battle for Pokrovsk
The Pokrovsk direction in Donetsk has long been the epicenter of fighting, with Russian forces attempting to encircle the city from multiple directions and sending in additional troops.
According to Ukraine's Air Assault Forces, Russian occupiers are concentrated mainly in southern Pokrovsk, with smaller groups scattered across the agglomeration. The enemy attacks Ukrainian positions around the clock, suffering heavy losses.
Colonel Vladyslav Seleznyov of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Russia has concentrated over 140,000 troops in the Pokrovsk sector.
Recently, Armed Forces Commander Oleksandr Syrskyi confirmed that Ukrainian units continue to hold northern Pokrovsk. The battle for the city is ongoing.
Despite the intensified pressure from Russian troops, Ukrainian forces continue to defend the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration.
