Ukrainian intelligence successfully evacuates 31 citizens from Iran in special operation

Ukrainian intelligence successfully carried out the evacuation of 31 Ukrainian citizens from Iran. Among those evacuated were 5 men, 12 women, and 14 children, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR).
According to the agency, the evacuation was carried out thanks to the coordinated efforts of all involved parties and with the support of international partners. The evacuees were transported via the territory of Azerbaijan to Moldova. They are currently en route to Kyiv.
"We felt completely unprotected the entire time we were in Tehran. There were no warning sirens at all. On top of that, the internet went down, and we had no idea what was happening. We're very grateful to the Ukrainian consulate in Tehran, which stayed in constant contact with us. I know there's a war in Ukraine too, but our country doesn't abandon its people," said Ms. Varvara from Kyiv region, one of the evacuees from Iran.
