Ukrainian intelligence fighters mop up important settlement in Kupiansk district of Russian troops

Special forces of Ukrainian intelligence moped up an important area of Russian forces, specifically the settlement of Kruhliakivka in the Kupiansk district, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
Fighters of the Brotherhood unit, as part of the Tymur special unit, supported by the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, liberated and moped up Kruhliakivka of Russian troops.
According to intelligence, the operation to regain control over the settlement important for the defense of Kupiansk lasted from October 7 to 14, 2024.
The enemy resisted and tried to counterattack but was defeated as Ukrainian intelligence fighters repelled their assaults and continued pushing them back. Due to the professional and brave actions of the intelligence special unit, the Russian troops in Kruhliakivka lost more than a platoon of infantry - they were eliminated in close combat.
"During the assault, the fighters of the special unit managed to capture Russian soldiers, gaining critical intelligence data. The replenishment of the exchange fund will also help return Ukrainian defenders from Moscow's captivity," intelligence officials noted.
In the end, the enemy was expelled from the settlement, and the enemy's movement routes were mined.
Recently, the General Staff reported that the Kupiansk direction was among the top three in terms of the number of attacks.
