On the night of June 17, Ukrainian drones attacked military facilities in three regions of the Russian Federation. These were in Belgorod, Voronezh, and Lipetsk, according to a source in the Ukrainian special services.

According to the source, kamikaze drones of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine were used during the operation.

The source says that the target of the attack was the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant and a local tractor plant. These enterprises are used by the aggressor country for military purposes. Explosions were heard in the area of these facilities, and locals reported air defense operations.

Information about the consequences of the attack is currently being clarified.

Nighttime drone attack on Russian regions

Last night, Russian Telegram channels reported powerful explosions in Rostov, Lipetsk, and Voronezh regions. For example, in Rostov, a substation was allegedly damaged by a drone attack, and the city lost power.

The so-called governors of the Lipetsk and Voronezh regions also reported an aerial threat. In the latter, explosions were heard around 3 a.m. local time, according to residents.

According to the Russian media, a tractor plant and a metallurgical plant in Lipetsk were hit. But the Russians traditionally say that everything was shot down.
