Ukrainian hackers attack Russian government servers and state awards website
Ukraine's Defense Intelligence hackers have attacked several important servers in Russia simultaneously. The attacks are ongoing, according to an RBC-Ukraine source.
"On March 23, cyberattacks were carried out on servers of the aggressor state authorities," the source said.
In particular, the websites www.avard.gov.ru (state awards of the Russian Federation), www.gov.ru (Russian state authorities), and the final server fso.gov.ru (the website of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation) were blocked.
"The attacks are ongoing," added the source within special services.
Not the first cyberattack
Recently, hackers intercepted correspondence between the head of the Russian parliament Vyacheslav Volodin and the Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin. Volodin proposed to Putin to strengthen control in Russia and confront Western countries after the "election."
In early March, DI hackers launched a massive DDoS attack on the servers of the Russian Ministry of Defense. They gained access to data and documents, including classified ones.
At the end of February, Ukrainian hackers attacked Russia's largest internet portal, Mail.ru. Some users lost access to their accounts.
Ukraine's IT army began its work on the third day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Since then, Ukrainian hackers have attacked over 4,000 resources of the occupying country.
