Ukraine does not announce separate visits of officials from partner countries. However, the United States continues its defense support despite some discussions in the media, said Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi during a briefing.

"As of now, defense support is ongoing. Indeed, there has been a lot of media discussion about certain elements of the packages that were either reviewed or delayed," he said.

According to him, the Ukrainian side is grateful to the US for clear signals regarding the continuation and possible increase of assistance.

"We see these signals and welcome them," Tykhyi noted.

Also, according to the spokesperson, Ukrainian and American teams are currently working on clarifying technical details about which parts of the allocated packages are arriving or already en route.

Tykhyi also reported that contacts between Ukraine and the US are planned.

"Some of them will take place as soon as today. They will be held by Minister Andrii Sybiha, who will have contacts with the American side," the MFA representative said.

He added that even more meetings between the two countries at various levels are expected in the future. In particular, such contacts will continue next week as well.

Regarding specific visits, the MFA explained that they are not announced for security reasons.

"Therefore, let us wait until the other side is ready to announce, or until the visits actually take place," Tykhyi said.

At the end of the briefing, Tykhyi clarified that if Kellogg himself confirmed his visit, then he is expected in Ukraine.

"If Kellogg confirmed (his visit - ed.), then we are waiting for the US Special Envoy and will be glad to welcome him in Kyiv and hold a number of meetings,” the spokesperson said.
