Ukrainian Foreign Minister explains why Hungary blocks Ukraine’s EU entry

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha believes that Budapest is violating the rights of the Hungarian national minority by flirting with Russia. The statement refers to Hungary’s entry ban on Commander of the Drone Systems Forces, Robert "Madyar” Brovdi, according to Sybiha’s post.
“Official Budapest, in its flirtation with the aggressor, has gone so far as to threaten and violate the rights of members of the Hungarian national minority. The reasons behind the blocking of Ukraine's path to the EU are now becoming blatantly obvious,” the Foreign Minister wrote.
Why Hungary banned entry for Madyar
As reported by RBC-Ukraine, on August 28, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Hungarian ambassador and handed him a note of protest over the entry ban imposed on Madyar.
The reason for the ban was Ukraine’s drone strikes on Russia’s Druzhba oil pipeline. In addition, Madyar was allegedly banned from entering the Schengen zone.
Robert Brovdi himself mocked Budapest. He called Orbán a dancer on bones and accused Hungary’s pro-Russian government of having the blood of Ukrainian civilians on its hands.
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski demonstratively invited Madyar to visit Poland.
“While Russian missiles rain death on Kyiv, Hungary bans a brave ethnic Hungarian who dares to fight for Ukraine's freedom. Commander Madyar: if you need some R&R and Hungary won't let you in, please be our guest in Poland,” he wrote.
