Ukrainian forces wipe out Russian platoon on Kharkiv-Donetsk border

Ukrainian defenders from the 3rd Assault Brigade have driven the Russian troops out of positions on the border of the Kharkiv and the Donetsk regions. They destroyed an entire Russian platoon, according to the brigade's Facebook page.
Ukrainian soldiers conducted successful raid-strike operations near the village of Ridkodub in the Donetsk region.
"As a result of offensive actions, a platoon of the 283rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 144th Division of the Russian 20th Army was eliminated. The brigade's fighters mopped up enemy positions and consolidated," the brigade added.
Thanks to the efforts of the 3rd company Karakurt Colony of the 2nd mechanized battalion, the tactical situation of Ukrainian forces in this direction has improved.
"The enemy is intensifying active assault actions along the entire line of contact. Despite this, the 3rd Assault Brigade not only holds the line but also counterattacks the enemy, reinforcing adjacent units," the brigade said.
Successful actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Earlier, the Ukrainian Navy showed how Ukrainian defenders were able to destroy a boat with Russian troops near the coast of the Kherson region.
Also today, on June 24, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,200 soldiers.
