Ukrainian forces strike several Russian drone command posts

Ukraine’s defense forces struck sites used by the Russian army to launch drones, as well as command posts in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
New targets were hit
On September 7 and overnight into September 8, Ukrainian forces struck several Russian military targets:
- a site used to store, prepare, and launch attack drones in the area of Donetsk city;
- Russian drone command posts in Chornomorske, Crimea, and Zaliznychne in Zaporizhzhia region;
- a command post in the area of Velyka Novosilka, Donetsk region.
The General Staff said it is still assessing the enemy’s losses and the extent of the damage.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that drones attacked the Saratov oil refinery in Russia overnight on September 8. Russian authorities and residents reported explosions and a fire.
It was also reported that fighters from Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence struck a Russian Su-24 aircraft on September 7. The strike took place in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
In addition, Ukrainian defense forces struck a Russian BK-16 landing craft in Sevastopol overnight on September 3.
