Aircraft was hit in Crimea

On the night of September 7, operators of the Active Operations Department of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence struck a Russian aircraft in Crimea.

The HUR added that the extent of the damage is still being assessed.

"A gift for Ukraine’s Military Intelligence Day. Crimea has already appreciated it!" the intelligence agency said.

RBC-Ukraine previously reported that HUR special forces struck a Bastion missile system in Crimea, which Russia uses to launch ballistic missile attacks against Ukraine.

It was also reported that Ukraine’s Defense Forces and intelligence special forces successfully struck the Novatek-Ust-Luga oil refinery complex in Russia’s Leningrad region on September 1.

In addition, the HUR has evidence that one of Russia’s largest oil refineries in the Nizhny Novgorod region halted operations following a successful strike.
