On February 26, Ukrainian defense forces struck a Russian drone control center in the Zaporizhzhia region. This facility is of great importance to the Russian army, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"On February 26, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully struck the UAV control center of the 503rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 19th Motorized Rifle Division of the 58th Army of the Russian military." The facility is located in the settlement of Nesterianka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

This military object was used by the enemy to control, store, and maintain UAVs of the Russian Armed Forces.

"Pilots of the Ukrainian Air Force will continue to destroy enemy forces until the Russian Federation ceases its armed aggression against the Ukrainian people," the General Staff stated.

Location of the affected Russian facility

Nesterianka is a village in the Orikhiv urban community of the Polohy district in the Zaporizhzhia region, with a population of 70 people. The village is currently occupied by the Russian military.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are constantly identifying and attacking important Russian facilities on the front line.

Just a day earlier, on February 25, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian observation post in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Russian forces also used it to launch drones.
