The Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out a missile strike on Taganrog in Russia’s Rostov region. The Atlant Aero defense industry enterprise was hit, which produces Molniya drones and components for Orion unmanned aerial vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the premises of the facility.
The Ukrainian Navy clarified that the strike was carried out using Neptune missiles.
Atlant Aero carries out the full cycle of design, production, and testing of Molniya strike-reconnaissance drones, as well as components for Orion UAVs.
The latter weighs about one ton and can carry up to 250 kg of payload, which may include aerial photography systems, electronic intelligence modules, optoelectronic systems, guided aerial bombs such as KAB-20, Kh-50 missiles, and Kh-UAV systems, among others.

It is noted that the strike on this facility will reduce Russia's capacity to produce drones and weaken the Russian aggressor’s ability to carry out strikes on civilian targets in Ukraine.

In addition, an enemy ammunition depot was hit in the area of the settlement of Trudove (temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region).
Material and technical supply depots were also struck in the areas of the settlements of Mangush, Topolyne, and Mariupol in Donetsk region, Smile in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as fuel tanks in the area of Novopoltavka, also in Zaporizhzhia region.
Enemy losses and the scale of the damage inflicted are being clarified.
The results of the strike on the oil refinery in the area of the Russian city of Tuapse have also been updated — the primary oil processing unit AVT-12 and RVS-10000 storage tanks were damaged, with a fire reported.
At the petroleum products terminal, equipment at oil loading berths, buildings, and RVS-10000 storage tanks were damaged.
Strikes on key enemy facilities
Recall that as part of efforts to reduce Russia's military and economic potential, on the night of April 18, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck four important facilities of the Russian oil refining industry.
Also yesterday, fighters of the SBU Special Operations Center A carried out a successful operation in Crimea. Drones hit three ships, radar systems, and Russian occupation logistics infrastructure.
