Ukrainian forces strike fuel depot in Belgorod region - General Staff
Ukrainian army struck a fuel depot in the Belgorod region on the night of November 12, causing a fire at the facility, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"On the night of November 12, Special Operations Forces and UAV units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in coordination with other Defense Forces components, carried out a fire strike on the fuel depot Oskolneftesnab near the town of Stary Oskol in the Belgorod region."
The General Staff added that the results of the strike are still being verified, but according to the preliminary data, a fire broke out on the territory of the facility.
The General Staff noted that targeting such facilities causes significant logistical challenges for the Russian forces and substantially reduces their offensive capabilities.
Drone attack in Belgorod region
Earlier Russian Telegram channels reported that on the night of November 12, unidentified drones attacked an oil depot in the Belgorod region.
Public media, referring to the region's governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, informed that the attack occurred in the Starooskolsky district, where Ukrainian drones targeted the oil depot, resulting in a fire that was quickly extinguished.
Later, Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, also confirmed the attack on the oil depot in Belgorod.
