Fire breaks out at oil depot in Russia's Belgorod region after drone attack
Unknown drones attacked an oil depot in Russia's Belgorod region on the night of November 12. The attack caused a fire, according to Russian media.
Social media accounts, citing regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, report that the incident occurred in the territory of the Starooskolsky urban district. It is claimed that drones belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted the depot. As a result, a fire broke out but was quickly extinguished.
"One of the tanks ignited after the explosion. Ten firefighting teams responded promptly, putting out the flames. There were no casualties," Gladkov wrote at 1:57 AM (Moscow time).
As a reminder, on the night of November 10, explosions were heard in the Russian city of Bryansk, followed by the activation of air defense systems due to an aerial attack. Fires broke out in the area shortly after. UAVs may have targeted a military facility during the strike.
